Any cat lovers know a surefire treat for a finicky eater?

I've tried several different brands & flavors for my cat, and she turns her nose up at all of them. Any suggestions? Girlie loves chicken and turkey and hates fish. Also, she's had some periodontal issues in the past, so she prefers soft over crunchy. Thanks!

One of my cats has IB and when he has an upset stomach I give him Gerbers Baby food- the meat only kind (chicken or turkey). Whenever both my cats see the little baby food jar they go crazy for it!

It's slightly crazy but what about just cooking a chicken breast in the oven for her and cutting it up real small. It will be soft for her to chew and all natural! I did that one time for my cat when she wouldn't eat and she loved it! It was pretty easy too.

My cats love crunchy and soft treats. I buy the Wiska Lickins Chicken & Cheese for soft. They love it.

My cats aren't fussy fortunately and will eat most treats. However, when sandwiches are being made in the morning the one thing that brings the girls out is deli turkey breast. They inhale it! They get very limited amounts 1-2 times a month.

I also have a finicky cat when it comes to food. She also has a delicate stomach. Her favorie treat is Wiska Lickins chicken and cheese soft treats. Even though they are small I break them in half or she eats them to fast. If I change her treats she gets sick. The same with her dry cat food. She will only eat Purina dry cat food. I tried changing to another brand once but the same thing happened-kitty vomit. So once you find a brand your cat likes stock up.

I had a cat for 9 years who also hated all cat treats, and was VERY picky about food. His favorite treat believe it or not was Granny Smith Apples, he could smell someone cutting into one from another floor. Even in his last days when he wouldn't eat ANYTHING he would still nibble a chunk of Granny Smith apple.
Also he did really like the "Pill Pockets" (I had called for a sample because he need a daily heart pill and explained that he wouldn't eat any treats..they sent a full bag, and guarenteed he would like them and he did!) You could probably use these as treats without pills just the same.

Purina Whisker Lickin's has a 'soft & delicious' chicken flavor.

"treats"?!?! Are you talking about cat food or cat treats? If it's cat food give them no choice for 3 days Girlie will eat anything. If it cat treats don't give Girlie any treats I don't give my cat any treats.

Have you tried HALO? The freeze-dried chicken is all-natural and very tasty. Ellen DeGeneres own part of Halo; she just did an hour show w/ QVC to promote this holistic brand of pet food. Go online and read about HALO. I think your kitty will really like these treats. SPOT'S STEW is a yummy cat food, too!
Good luck!

I also have a cat that is totally NOT into treats -- and I've tried about every brand imaginable since I have 4 cats. This finicky guy will usually -- but not always -- eat Greenies for Cats.
