Does anyone know where a reliable breeder of American Bulldogs is in Indiana?
I'm looking for upcoming litters to be born in Spring.

Thanks. : ]

I agree with Tracy. There are so many full-breed dogs being put to sleep in dog pounds and dog shelters every day. Please adopt, don't shop! You may be taking one dog home from that litter but what happens to the ones that don't get purchased? It is possible they end up as strays or possibly being put down in dog pounds. Please try Petfinder or any other site first. You can do a breed-specific search to find a dog in your area that NEEDS a home. Don't encourage animals being born into a world where there are homeless animals in excess. Help one that really, truly needs it!

I would reiterate what the other two have said, but if you don't hear it when they say it then you won't hear it from me either. Here is a different solution: The Midwest American Bulldog Rescue (www.mwabr.org/).

I hope with all of my heart that you will reconsider buying a dog from a breeder. Just last week, one of our shelter's favorite dogs was euthanized because he hadn't found a home. After 9 months in a kennel he had become aggressive and unstable, even though he had been even tempered and adoptable for most of that 9 months. If ONE person looking for a bulldog had come to our shelter rather than buying from a breeder then his story could have had a happier ending.

Please... please look on Petfinder.com (www.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?breed=american+bulldog&tmpl=&preview=&animal=Dog&preview=&zip=IN

Please DONT buy while Shelter animals Die! Seriously there are so many in shelters all over the USA! Check www.Petfinder.com and PLEASE BE A HERO AND SAVE A LIFE! Shelter animals need us to adopt when we have a spot open, Breeders are part of the over population problem in shelters.
