Adverse Reaction to Revolution

I was told to immediately wash him and rinse him with lots of water. The box says after two hours washing won't help, but I was told to do it anyway in case there is some medication on the hair. Then he was given an L-histamin to take morning and night for 8 days similar to a Benadryl pill for people. 30 mg. This did help his breathing and calmed him down. I think this is the most awful thing I have ever witnessed aside from seeing a dog hit by a car.

I'm glad he's doing better. No more tremors & paralysis, I hope? Revolution is a relatively safe treatment. My parents have always used it on all their rescue cats & their own...probably 100 or more by this time...& never had a problem, but it can happen & when it does it can be devastating. One of my neighbors put a flea collar on their cat & left him outside one day. I just happened to see him staggering around & noticed the new collar, cut it off of him & took care of him. Its good that you were paying close attention...some people don't. I hope he's back to 100% soon & doesn't have anymore problems.
