Go under Pets and People and then click on Adoptable Pets. I noticed the breeds you were looking for. German shepherds seem easy to come by in animal shelters I have noticed. And of course there are rescues for any of those breeds. GOOD LUCK!!! And, Im so happy you want to adopt and save a dog!! I have a rottie/german shepherd mix. He is a GREAT dog. Very smart, very gentle. He is almost 14 yrs old now. He is our big baby.

I adopted my Sparky (silky terrier mix) from a rescue organization I found on Petfinder.com. You can search by where you live, type of dog, size, age, sex. It worked really well for me.

Well, it's not on Zootoo, but Petfinder is the most handy adopting tool. Just type in your zip-code, and specify about what you want and....Ta da!

Under the "help pets" tab at the top select "adoptable pets". This will list all the pets. On the right there is a menu to select dogs and under that you can put in your zipcode and a distance away from the location of the dog.
