When Shorty has fleas he will growl at them even when he is chewing or scratching at them he growls at them. Does anyone know Why Shorty growls at his fleas?

I bought a Furmonator and use it one my 3 dogs. The two little dogs love it. My big dog who shed the most hates it. He will let me comb him and brush him, but runs off when he sees me get the Furmanator.

Just curious, do you take your dogs, cats, small pets for professional pedicures or do you do it yourself? How often do your pets get the "spa" treatment?
It seems like Sport got a mat of hair on his tail over night. Should i cut the mat of hair out, or continue to de-mat it with my slicker brush each day while it grows out? He is a Bichon Frise, they have a curly tail structure.
