When my puppy eats he frequently gets the hiccups afterwards. We have made him eat slower but it still happens sometimes. Is this something I should be worried about?

When I was younger my mom used to buy Alpo and mix a little of it together with the dry food to make a "gravy" for our dog. I am just wondering if it is better to do this or if the dry food is acceptable alone.

They have so many out there....Eukenuba, Nutro, Science Diet, Blue Buffalo, Iams....I am at a loss! I don't want to pay more for expensive brands if some of the less expensive brands are just as nutritious. Does anyone use Beneful? How is that?
