I live in the Chicago area and just want to get to a beach. Wondered if anyone knew where I could take two little dogs to just hang out - a small lake, or even Wisconsin side Lake Michigan. Labor Day weekend perhaps.

I'm moving across the country with my cat, and I had planned to take a flight, but it costs a fortune to fly a cat, and I was wondering what the best option to move her is, keeping in mind I don't have a lot of money to spend on this move
We take our 40-45lb shepherd/hound mix along with us every chance we get, and I need a safe, yet economical attachment for her harness. I have seen the ones that cost $100, and I'm not interested. Any tips or suggestions on any cheaper ones?? Thanks!
