I got three ferrets from petco and my friend told me since they chemically decent them that thety will get cancer and die earlier than they should and i would like to know if this is true?

My friend has a beautiful cockatoo and about three times a year she lays an egg without a male. Shes about 25 or so and just started a few years ago. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me why they do this. Thanx

I have never had a rat live more then 2-1/2 years. I feed them right, keep them clean. I've had over 20 rats over the last 8 years and none of the has lived longer then 2-1/2 years.

Please Help? The vet and I have decided to try the Herbal supplement route before going for the actual seizure meds. Please any home remedies would be helpful. Any suggestions realy.
