Having always to vacuum and hair is always on the furniture. Need to change the filter once a month, but after his haircut, need to only change every other. Just don't know if a golden should be shaved.

My cat is black and has white specks that look like dandruff. I've tried moist cleaning, changing diet to add more fish oil, and just brushing her a lot but there always seems to be more flakes.
I am absolutely horrible at this but I don't want to only have it done at the vet's office in our annual visit? Our cats don't like to stay still anyway and shred us if we try to keep them still. Any ideas?

My 6mo old chihuahua has dry skin his vet told me to use conditioner with no scent and i have been but i don't think that it's working. Any other suggestions?
I don't go to groomers b/c my dog gets really upset, but I have to pick up hair off the floor everyday. Does anyone have any other products or solutions for shedding hair.

I think Dandilion is so fat, she cannot clean herself and prevent the matting.
Just curious, since cats are always cleaning themselves and each other, do they really need to have a bath too? My cats are orange and white and their white parts are WHITE, so they seem clean to me.
the fish gets pretty hyper when we use the small net to scoop him out of the tank.
