There is a silent auction to raise money to support local animal shelters. It is held in Sept. each year.

Our shelter's adoption fees are quite low (highest fee being $75 for an adult spayed/neutered dog with up-to-date shots. I think they are too low.

My dogs has his leg broken and I don't have the money to get him a surgery. Is there a way that I can get help.?

Everyone thinks their shelter deserves the makeover. I want to know which one deserves it the most.

January 19 commemorates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday and is considered to be a day for selfless public service. I think every active Zootooer is doing that. Do you plan to do anything additional in honor of MLK Day, and if so, what?

I know the HSUS site has some fundraising info, and I have seen professional websites for colleges, etc. But I wondered if anyone here knew of some other educational materials specifically for pet groups?

If your shelter could win the $1M, what would you like to see them do with the money and why? In what way do you think the $1M can benefit them? And, why did you select the shelter you do for this makeover?

a rescue not accept donations of old Pillows?? They will take Dog Pillows but not people ones. I do not understand this. Especially for dogs that are not socialized, to have the human scent should be a very good thing. B… more ›
