Review Details

Most people don't think of their local police department anymore when a pet is lost. Although most departments, including BPD, are busy, they still are peopled by caring officers. It is most helpful to make up a flyer with a description and a picture that can be copied and carried by individual officers. Think of it: they cover your entire service area, always are on patrol, and are used to looking for items of interest. That can include your pet. The downside? They cannot promise you results, only to try. If you lose a pet in the Bloomington/Monroe County area don't forget your local police. They do it all... every day.

I didn't know you could call them about a lost dog. Thanks for the tip.

Can you call the police if you FIND a dog during hours that animal conrol does not operate?
I shouldn't be so dog-centric. Read: dog, or cat, or other pet.
