Furrytale Farm

This is a fabulous facility, doing excellent work to save animals, educate kids, and break the cycle of abuse. The staff cares, works hard, and keeps the place pristine.

My husband and I have already adopted two dogs from Furrytale, found everyone to be courteous and knowledgeable, and will keep going back, so anyone who says the owner told them she hated their 12-year-old dog and hated them must either be silly liars or pretty ugly people -- as in the kind no reputable facility would adopt to.

Furrytale Farm exists because the Kitsap Humane Society is one of the worst, with a staff that is incompetent and uncaring, and a facility that is just plain awful. If you want proof -- the review on this site that gave the farm a 1 rating was written by a Kitsap County Animal Control employee who couldn't get a job at Furrytale -- does the word jealousy come to mind?

Furrytale is unique in the Puget Sound area -- their education programs alone set them apart. Their goal is not just to save abused and abandoned animals, it is also to teach kids to respect and value animals, which in turn teaches them to respect and value themselves. And they're succeeding -- one child at a time.

If you're looking for a first-rate animal rescue facility to support, you should definitely check this one out. You won't be disappointed.

when we were looking for another dog we found a place called furrytale farms. But when we got there the owner told us she doesnt like our other dog that is 12 years of age then she told us how much she hates us!!! so we left the place!!!
