Additional Information
Medical: shots current,spayed/neutered
Training: house broken
History: My owner "surrendered" me in early 2008 because she was moving. Adding insult to injury in my case, I am NINE years old. While that's just 52 in human years, humans - even those well past sixty - tend to shy away from mature ladies like me, particularly in Spring when it rains cute kittens.
Health Notes: Somewhere along the line, I developed a "cauliflower ear". (No one knows how or why.) However, as noted, I am far more interested in warming your lap than checking out a boxing ring.
Behavioral Notes: When I first arrived, I was a little shy, not unusual for a mature house cat who has spent all her life as a much-loved house pet. However, that has changed. I now come to the front of the cage, chirp and rub against bars and hands. I get so thrilled someone notice more than the #9 that I'll even solicit (and allow) a belly rub. (I especially enjoy company at meal times.) The folks at the shelter learned I can get along with dogs as well as cats if given the opportunity.
