Goldie is a BEAUTIFUL Bronze Wing Pionus. She is a young bird, she was hatched on July 9, 2008. She has had one, loving owner her entire life. Unfortunately, her owner had to give Goldie up because the husband didn't like birds.Goldie is a sweet, shy, cuddly bird. She LOVES to have her head scratched. She does not talk, and in general, Pionus are not known for their talking ability.Goldie is a quiet parrot, she will vocalize in the morning but the rest of the day is very quiet.Goldie is shy with new people, once she bonds with you she is YOUR friend for life, but she is not the type of bird to allow strangers to handle her. She doesn't bite, but when afraid will attempt to fly away from whatever is scaring her.Goldie lived in a home with dogs and is very comfortable around them. She has NOT been around children and will not be adopted to a home with small children.Goldie is very healthy, she has been on a diet of quality pellets, a small amount of organic seeds and fresh fruits and veggies.Goldie will be a wonderful companion for someone who is willing to earn her trust and spend time with her.Goldie's adoption fee is $400.00 and includes her very large cage, toys, food, etc.For more information on Goldie, or to apply to adopt her, please email us at pcoschool@sbcglobal.net
