When you’re angry at someone, you will often send curses at them and their family. These curses are not real. They are you just blowing off steam. But even in the worst cases, there are certain things that you wouldn’t wish on even your worst enemy. Medical catastrophes are one of these categories. You never want to have one of these happen to you or anyone else in the world if possible. Nonetheless, they do happen.

Some of these catastrophes are things that can be avoided. Others are just a matter of fate. Consider something like medical malpractice. What about childhood diseases? And then there are freak accidents that occur every day all around the world. In all of these instances, some aspect of health via a medical facility or medical condition is in place.

An injury caused by medical malpractice is a particularly terrible occurrence. You are supposed to feel safe, comfortable, and trusting as soon as you go into a hospital environment. But if a doctor does something negligent, it can potentially affect a person for the rest of their lives. In certain instances, it can even cause death.

Because of this, you would never want a medical malpractice occurrence to happen to even someone that you hate. It’s not always possible to avoid medical malpractice issues because they are so infrequent and don’t always have a consistent cause.

Childhood Diseases

One of the most tragic things that can happen to a family is if someone comes down with a childhood disease. In some cases these are genetic. In other cases, they may have caught a bacterial infection or virus that causes an eventual breakdown of their body. You never want to see children suffer, and many times, there is not even any cure for the diseases after they are diagnosed. All you can do is pray for the release from suffering for everyone involved.

Freak Accidents

Freak accidents do happen, and they can feel like it is so backward from what should happen in life. For example, every year, children get injured in freak accidents at baseball games. A baseball hitting a child in the stands can cause serious injury, and everyone nearby feels the pain of such an occurrence. Even if you try and protect everyone everywhere, there are still going to be things that happen with life-changing consequences, and no one is really at fault.

So even when you do get angry at people and bring down some lighthearted insult from your mind to throw at them, recognize that you are never doing this in a way that you actually want significant harm to happen to them.

If you’ve ever pulled your clothes out of the machine and sunk your nose into them, you’ll appreciate the importance of smell in confirming your clothes are really clean.

Certainly, the right aroma can be intoxicating and can stay present throughout the day. But, have you ever stopped to consider what creates this effect?

The short answer is harsh chemicals. Fabric softener and other washing products are full of chemicals that will enhance the smell. However, these potentially irritating chemicals will be in constant contact with your body and may have long-term side effects.

That’s why you need to consider if a nontoxic laundry soap is the right option for you. The good news is that there are other options:

The Natural Alternative

You’ll want to look for a product that says ‘biodegradable’. Even better, the product will say ‘no bleach’, or ‘NPE free’.

These types of specially formulated laundry detergent don’t have harsh chemicals, but will still clean your clothes and leave them smelling good. This is true even if you’re dealing with smelly sportswear.

Lavender

Add 10 drops of lavender essential oil to a spray bottle of water and spray each item of clothing before you put it into your machine. You don’t need to add detergent as the rubbing motion of garments in your wash agitates dirt and removes it.

The lavender water will leave your clothes clean and smelling great. If you’re not a fan of lavender, then rose, or something similar will have the same effect.

Citrus

Citrus oils can be used in the same way as lavender. The difference it is best to mix these with one cup of bicarbonate of soda, ½ cup borax, and one cup of white vinegar. 20 drops of citrus essential oils should be sufficient.

Then simply add it to your wash in the same way you would any other detergent.

Wool Balls

You can actually make these yourself, although purchasing them is also a viable option.

Simply wrap some 100% wool yarn around two of your fingers, at least 12 times. Slide it off and tie it to stop it unraveling. You can then make 3 more and slide each one into one leg of some pantyhose. Tie a knot between each ball and then pace the string of wool balls in the washing machine.

They’ll then need to go through the dryer before you add 3 drops of your preferred essential oil and use them with your washing.

Vinegar

Vinegar has a harsh smell. But, it can be combined with the essential oil of your choice to make an aromatic and pleasant smell.

Simply add a little to your washing cycle with 3-4 drops of essential oil, the result will be impressive.

DIY Soap

Grate one bar of soap, or put it into a food processor to ensure it is really fine. You can then mix it with 2 cups of washing soda and 20 drops of any essential oil, you can choose the aroma that you like the most.

Once ready you should store it in an air-tight jar and use as you would any other detergent.

Your kids’ health has got to be your top priority as a parent. Sometimes when you diagnose that there’s an issue, there’s something that you can do as a parent quickly to alleviate symptoms or allow the relief or release of the situation. Earaches That Won’t Go Away

If your child has an earache that won’t go away, that is a good sign that you need to go see a doctor immediately. Earaches that only last a day or two usually aren’t that big of a deal. Especially if you live in a place that has cold winters, it’s no surprise that in earache will come and go. But if it’s consistent and painful, it may be a sign of something that needs to get diagnosed by a medical doctor and treated as soon as possible.

Behavioral Problems

At what point should you take your child to see a therapist if they have behavioral problems? This is a big question. Sometimes kids are just acting out within a realm of normalcy. Other times, their behavior is such an outlier from usual that it can be a great benefit talking to a specialist as soon as possible.

Speech Therapy

It’s imperative that your children can communicate their thoughts effectively to you and the rest of the world around them. Because of this, it’s something to pay close attention to if they don’t seem to be learning how to use communication skills as soon as they should. Because of this, parents can send their kids to speech therapy classes to ensure that they are getting all of the attention that they need on this crucial part of their development.
